Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review
The Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review
To be honest I’ve never really heard of this guy named Joel Marion before and what he was all about. I didn’t know if he was just an internet scam artist or if his Xtreme Fat Loss Diet also maybe known as the Extreme Fat Loss Diet was a product that was really worth the money.
I sure as hell don’t like to throw away my money so I was going to make sure Joel Marion was legit and I want to share with you what I found in this Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review. I personally bought his product myself and I’m going to tell you if this stuff really works.
When he says that the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet is extreme, it is EXTREME. This is probably the hardest diet that I have ever done in my entire life, but it was worth it.
There are 5 different principles to the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet which include; the cheat day, the fast day, the shake day, the moderate carbohydrate day and the protein-only depletion day.
The whole diet last 25 days and by the end of it I didn’t know if I was going to make it or not, it was that tough.
But I’m going to break down each of the principles of Joel Marion’s program for you so you can decide for yourself if the program is right for you.
Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review – The 5 Day Cycle
Obviously, the cheat day is going to be the easiest part of the diet and it’s a lot of fun when you can eat almost anything you want all day. But the cheat day is like the calm before the storm and it’s only a matter of time before the diet gets serious.
The whole point of having the cheat day in the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet is to boost the leptin levels that get depleted after dieting so hard during the week. And just to break down what leptin does real fast, it basically tells your body whether or not it’s starving and if it can burn fat or not.
Also on the cheat day, I found while writing this Xtreme Fat Loss Diet review you’re supposed to do the density day training which is also pretty intense. But thank God it’s on the day when you’re taking in a lot of calories because if it was on the fast day then Joel Marion would be out of his mind.
The cheat day is a God-send after dieting so hard during the week and should be enjoyed because it won’t last for long…
Easily the hardest part of the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet and it will break a lot of people who are trying to take the diet. Even though you’re still taking in Branched Chained Amino Acids to keep your muscle from breaking down, you’re still hungry as hell all day. There were plenty of times when I contemplated cheating and driving as fast as I could to the nearest Burger King for a Double Whopper with cheese. The key is to stay busy during the day and drink plenty of water if you want to survive the fast day.
The day following the fast day is the shake day in Joel Marion’s Xtreme Fat Loss Diet. And the shake day is still pretty damn difficult but it’s a breeze compared to the fast day. You’re basically taking in various forms of protein shakes 5 times throughout the day. The protein shakes include fruit which is a very minimal form of carbohydrates.
Hallelujah! You finally start getting back to normal around now in the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet and by now you don’t think you can go any farther. The whole purpose behind this day is to give your body a break from the previous 2 days of low calories and let it recover while you’re still burning fat. This is easily way better than the last 2 days in the diet and it’s a great feeling of relief to be able to get some good ole fashioned carbohydrates into your diet. I would have punched Joel Marion in the face if we had another cheat day here…

My Final Thoughts For This Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Review
This is the final day in the 5 day cycle and it’s right before you go back to the cheat day. And since you’re taking out just about all the protein in you’re diet, you’re going to deplete your muscle glycogen and triglyceride stores to save space for the HUGE amount of calories and carbs you’re going to be taking in on the next cheat day.
It’s nice on this day in the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet to be able to take in lots of protein but still going without carbohydrates is a little bit of a pain, but it’s really not that bad (at least compared to the cheat day).
And that really makes up the gist for this Xtreme Fat Loss Diet review and even thought I didn’t know much about Joel Marion at first, I now know this guy is the real deal Holyfield. If you stick 100% to the diet and the awesome workouts too, you’ll get mad results…at least I did.
It’s honestly going to be pretty hard to go through the fast days without a little bit of will power but while researching for this Xtreme Fat Loss Diet review I found that those who would put in the work were greatly rewarded by losing a lot of fat and inches off their body.
I have yet to find a dieting program that will tone up your body faster than the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet and as long as you’re willing to put in some hard work just over the course of 25 days then you’ll surely experience the same incredible fat loss results.

That is extreme. Glad it worked for you. I have followed Michael Ferrer’s “In Case of Emergency” 2 week fat loss diet and it worked well for me. It was in the June or July 2010 Muscle & Performance magazine. Thanks for all the helpful information you post.

within these 25 days of dieting, is exercising permitted? also, what happens after you’ve completed the diet? how do you continue a regular diet?

Hey Paula, yes exercise is permitted and highly recommended. In fact, they’ll give you an awesome workout plan that also is synchronized with the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet to get maximum fat loss and lean muscle building.

That’s a cool idea – diet & cheating/fasting so you don’t get crazy…
…although I like to be more stress-free regarding staying fit.
cheers.

Your Commentshey
this diet really really impressed me and im thinking of starting off from march 12 2011..
before iv done alot of diets like the 3 hour diet , the 30 day shred but my problem with all these were that i just couldnt do it more then like 2 weeks cuz i just got so completely bored with them.. i hope this one proves me wrong i just need to loose like 5 or 10 pounds.
also the problem is the country where i live to get the protein powder is going to be very hard and expensive so what should i do as a subsitute for it. can anyone help me out.??

I completed the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet but I didn’t make it through one cheat day and I missed only 2 cardio sessions. All in all, I lost 14.5 inches and 11.5 pounds. I got amazing results.
This 25 day plan is not for beginners though and is extremely hard but extremely worthwhile.
A+ on my list.

Hi Josh,
Would you please tell me what one eats on the days that aren’t fast days or cheat days. What does a “typical” day look like?
This is something I’m very interested in trying but before I pay money, I’d like to know more. Thanks Josh!

Will this diet work for people who do not eat meat? I eat seafood and eggs but not chicken, beef etc.

Hey Tru, the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet will definitely work even if you don’t eat meat. You’re just going to have to be more creative with your meal plans.

Hi Josh -
THanks for the review, I know it’s been awhile since you posted this, but I was just looking around for some encouragement before I start on Sunday. It will be tough but the cheat days will make it work i think

Hi Josh,
I play field sport in Ireland. I am just back from holidays and would like to cut back on some weight etc. I have a big game coming up in 3 weeks.
I am not so sure about low carbs on days of pratice games so I am wondering could I alter the plan a little on these days or I could be very low on glycogen for running etc.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick, if you’re going to be doing the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet and playing soccer you’re going to want to make sure your not doing too much heavy running while on the fast days.

Hi Josh…
I’m going to start the diet on Sunday. I was just wondering. What can I eat instead of cottage cheese?

Hi Taleen, glad you’re getting on the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet! Instead of cottage cheese you could go with some milk (raw) or casein protein powder. Or if those aren’t options for you basically anything that’s a lean protein source such as chicken, turkey, salmon, etc.

Hey Josh…can you tell me about the workouts? How long do they take, what equipment do I need, strength training and/or cardio, etc. Thanks, Dan

Hi Dan, for the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet you’re just going to need a pair of dumbbells but they do offer an additional package with just bodyweight workouts. The workouts don’t take too long and most are between 30-60 minutes. They’re really a blend of strength and cardio training so be ready for some intense metabolic training.

Hi Josh,
I’ve already purchased the program, and I’m debating if it’s worth it to use it with the supplements or not, considering the cost. Everyone says that to get the best results you should use them. Do you know of anyone who has completed the program without the supplements, and what their results were? I’m just not sure I want to spend 200+ dollars on a months supply of supplements, etc.
Thanks for your time!
Riley

HI Riley, you don’t have to buy their supplements. You can find cheaper alternatives but I’ve heard people have done the program without the supplements and they’ve gotten pretty good results.
[Reply]
Hi Josh, thanks for your reply. In regards to the cheaper alternative supplements, would you have any recommendations?
Thanks so much!

Hi Riley, you could just go to Target or Wal-mart and get some EAS Myoplex stuff. Not as pure as Prograde but it’ll do the job.

Hi Josh! I was wondering if you’ve tried the bodyweight workouts that you can buy to go with this diet. That’s what I did, and I’m curious to see if it works as well as the original workout plan. Thanks for your time!

Hi Faith, I personally didn’t try the bodyweight workouts myself but I know the guys who made the program and I have tried their stuff. I’m sure if you follow the bodyweight program it’ll give you the same results as you would with the dumbbells (or maybe even better).

Hey Josh,
Just wanted to say that I love your article! I’m starting the diet this Monday, and I was trying to find more reviews and found yours. It’s made me feel confident that if I work hard, I will see results.
Thanks,

Hi Josh,
When Joel tells you all the supplements to take, he doesn’t mention when to take them aside from the BCAA’s. Does that mean that you take all the other ones daily for the serving size amount on the bottle?
Thanks for you help,
Ariel

Hi Ariel, I believe you take the shakes on the shake only days.

Hi Josh,
I’ve struggled with yo yo dieting for the past 10 years and had my daughter 7 months ago. I have about 70 pounds to lose to get back into optimal shape, and to boot, I’m the maid of honor for my sister’s wedding in October. Clearly, i’d need to do this program more than once. Can you repeat the 25 day cycle? Also, I can do just about anything as long as the results are motivating. How soon before you started seeing results?
Thanks for all your help!

Hi Lauren, I wouldn’t do the Xtreme Fat Loss diet back to back because it is super intense. Wait at least 4 weeks before doing it again.

I have gained an entire body over the past year after a traumatic injury
which shattered my knee cap.
Previously I rode bike and practiced taichi & yoga.
I would like to ultimately lose 120#s, but am not sure i will be able to do the workouts.
What sore of results do people get who cannot do an extreme workout?

Hi Kay, with the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet you will surely still lose fat even if you’re unable to do the workouts. You’re just going to have to make sure you stick to the diet 100% of the time. You may be able to do a good majority of the exercises but obviously some that involve your knee are going to have to be modified.

I have a question and can’t seem to get an answer from Joel. He just sent me a link for personal coaching and more money. All I wanted to know, which for some reason is nowhere in the program,,,how may BCAA capsules do I take on the fast and depletion days, when starting at 60.06 or 10.01 per serving?
