I have an pretty awesome blog post for you today with some boot camp exercises that can help cut down belly fat and they’re straight from my Napa boot camp program.
With the warm weather upon us it’s time to start taking our game up a notch and doing some more functional compound exercises. These boot camp exercises will not only help you burn more fat but also increase your metabolic rate so you keep burning fat long after you finish working out.
To be honest with you I like doing these kind of boot camp workouts more than most other kinds of workouts because they’re both fun and challenging. I just got my heart rate up to almost 210 bpm with this kind of workout and although I was on the verge of puking I felt great afterwards.
There aren’t too many workouts out there with these boot camp exercises and if you’re seriously ready to cut down belly fat then this is the kind of workout that’s going to help get you there.
Hanging out on a cardio machine for an hour and lifting baby rattle size weights are going to be like walking in circles all day. You may be doing something but in the end you’re not going anywhere.
So what’s the main advantage of doing a boot camp workout?

First of all it’s a great combination of metabolic resistance training and high intensity interval training and both have been proven to be the best methods of both fat loss and lean muscle building.
Also when I put together these boot camp exercises it makes a unique and quite fun workout that you really need to prevent repetitive boredom with your workouts. Because once you start to become bored with doing the same old workout you’ll simply stop doing them altogether and that is no bueno.
If you’re up for it you could easily do these boot camp exercises outside at a park or someplace similar with a friend. With the nice warmer weather ahead of us it’s going to be a lot funner working out outside than it is in a sweaty and steamy gym.
Just make sure you carry a water bottle with you because you’re most likely going to sweat your butt off with this workout and I don’t want anybody passing out!
So put down your fanny packs and it’s time to get serious!

1. DB Burpee Push-ups to Press x50sec.
2. Burpee Bullfrogs 2x50ft. (Bicycle & Rotates x50)
3. Walking DB Lunges w/side raise 2x50ft. (DB Half Jacks x20)
4. DB Core Row x50sec.
5. Bear Crawls 2x50ft.
6. DB Side Lunges w/curl 2x50ft. (Skater Plyos x20)
7. Crab Crawls 2x50ft.
8. X-Jumps x15
60 second rest then repeat

Hey! Looks like a really good workout, lots of moves I haven’t seen before. Only thing is I’m not really cool with bringing dumbells to the park, I feel like it would be kinda awkward.
