Food Swap These 3 Unhealthy Foods
So I just finished training all of my boot camp members, and on the way home I stopped off at the grocery store to pick up some goodies for the day.
I was a little bit shocked to see what some people were throwing in their shopping carts. This stuff obviously wasn’t good for them, and there were some really simple food swaps they could do to make it 100x’s better for them.
Filling your house with processed and sugary foods is going to be like putting yourself into the lion’s den. If the food is in your house then you’re going to eat it. There’s no doubts about it.
If they were my clients then I would have made some simple swaps that would have radically improved their diets so they could burn more fat and dramatically increase their energy levels as well.
Food Swap #1

First off, switch out those Diet Coke’s for steeped ice green tea. A 10 year study found cola drinkers had a 70% greater increase in weight circumference than non-cola drinkers.
And this unsightly belly fat has been linked to diabetes, heart disease and cancer. Not to mention it doesn’t make anybody look any more attractive.
Instead swap out those Coke’s for 2-4 cups of iced green tea, which is loaded with antioxidants to kill off aging free radicals as well as other metabolism boosting benefits.
Food Swap #2
The next food swap out is yogurt, and all of the sugary sweeteners food manufacturers put in them. Instead swap them out with some plain Greek yogurt mixed with some fresh wild blueberries.
Greek yogurt is better for you because it contains more protein, less carbs and less dairy than your typical run-of-the-mill yogurts. Not to mention the probiotics will boost your immune system as well as supporting your digestive system.
Food Swap #3
The last food swap of the day is mayonnaise. Now I’ve never been much of a fan of mayo, but it’s a staple in a lot of people’s daily sandwiches. Unfortunately, it’s loaded with omega-6′s which will promote inflammation in most people’s bodies, and it also is packed with saturated fats. Instead I’d recommend swapping this creamy little guy with ripe avocados.
Avocados are packed with healthy omega-3 fatty acids which fight inflammation, improve your heart health and increase your brain function… not to mention they taste very delicious. Yeah, they’re higher in fat content but these are the healthy monounsaturated fats that your body craves.
These are just a few of the simple food swaps in my Flat Belly Formula program. If you’re seriously sick and tired of your belly bulging out then it’s time for a change.

Hope you’re having a fantastic Wednesday and I better not catch you at the grocery store with the bad foods we talked about today in your shopping cart.

Hi Josh, I already cut sodas out of my diet. I just don’t crave for them anymore since I work so hard in the gym. Sodas will just compromise my progress. Great tips though!
