extremely fast weight loss 300x224 My Sneaky Little Trick For Fast Weight LossAfter reading the title for this blog post you’re probably wondering why I’m talking about “sneaky little tricks” when it comes to fast weight loss when I’m an advocate of consistent nutrition and exercise to transform you body.

And this is 100% true I won’t argue one bit of that with you.  But there are a few little tricks that I’ve learned along the way that can help you significantly see increased results from your efforts.

This sneaky little trick is to have a Cheat Day with your diet.

When most of us are trying to achieve fast weight loss we practically starve our bodies through calorie restriction and this may help us lose weight over the course of a week but after a while that progress will slow significantly.

Why is this?

There’s a hormone called leptin also known as the anti-starvation hormone is essentially responsible for how much fat your body is willing to burn.

See leptin is regulated by how many calories your body is taking in and over the course of a week your leptin levels will significantly go down and it will put your body into an anti-starvation mode.

So basically your body is starving for nutrients and it’s going to be stingy with spending calories…think of it like a broke uncle who is super stingy with their wallet.

The thing with leptin is that it just doesn’t completely fall to the bottom of the barrel over the course of a day.  In fact, they found that leptin levels decreased signficantly over the course of 1 week or 7 days.

By the time the 7th day has hit your body is going to stop burning fat and instead hold onto everything it’s got leaving you stuck in the mud.

But the good news is you can dramatically increase your leptin levels in only 1 day of cheating.  And by cheating I mean just about anything you want.

The reason eating foods like pizza are going to help raise leptin levels is because they will increase your insulin levels and both leptin and insulin work synergistically.

Having a Cheat Day once a week is basically like telling your body that everything is OK and let the fat burning resume!

You’re only going to be aloud a Cheat Day if you’re willing to put in the hard work the rest of the other 6 days and stick to your diet, otherwise you’ll just be making the problem worse by throwing in a cheat day if you’re already cheating during the week.

And to be honest with you after a week of being good on my diet I’m usually ready to pig out come Saturday.  There are no rules for me when it comes to my Cheat Day and I’m planning on eating every bacon cheeseburger, milkshake, sweet potato fries, pizza and ice cream that I can get my hands on.

I do this because I know I’m going to immediately jump back on the wagon the next day and I’m not going to cheat again for another 6 days.

Another sneaky little trick you can use is to benefit from your Cheat Day even more by depleting your calorie intake the day before or after your Cheat Day while also doing specific kinds of training on those days as well.

Leptin My Sneaky Little Trick For Fast Weight Loss

For example, on a Cheat Day you’re obviously going to be having a very high increase in calories that day and therefore you’re going to have a lot more energy for training.

This is ultimately the time to increase both the volume and increase the intensity of the exercise as well with a fast paced circuit workout.  To do this have a circuit of 3-5 exercises that will be performed for a specific set of time.

So if you’re used to doing the Spartacus Workout 2.0 for 40 seconds with 10 pounds, on your Cheat Day you’re going to do the same workout but increase the time to 60 seconds and increase your weights up to 12-15 pounds.

This will undoubtedly send a shock to your nervous system and in effect create a metabolic disturbance in your body causing your body to burn even more fat off your body.

This is when you’ll get the afterburn training effect when you could theoretically keep burning fat for up to 36 hours AFTER you finish working out.
